At Healthy Price our goal is to develop a patient-centered tool that provides useful cost information at point of care. We partner with state government agencies and hospital systems that have the same goal as us, which is to empower patients with the healthcare cost information that they need to make the right medical decisions for themselves and their families.
Our data currently comes from the All Payer Claims Database (APCD), which was developed across many states to create more healthcare cost transparency. Though it is not set up in every state yet, it is growing in numbers. In addition to translating the APCD data that we do have access to into an easy-to-consume format for patients, we are also reaching out to every state to push for APCD development and policies that allow companies like Healthy Price to make the data available to patients like you.
